 The ADC Purpose

The Auburn Diamond Club supports development of the Auburn University Baseball Program and especially to include the young men on the team. The ADC encourages game attendance, sponsors hospitality activities and a pre-season Team Recognition banquet; away travel is facilitated, and an internet news network is provided to keep members informed. The Club assists the program in conjunction with the AU Athletics Department and Compliance Offices. A large percentage of the ADC budget is dedicated to direct financial support of the Baseball Program.

History

The Auburn Diamond Club was founded during the 2001 season. The founding member's intent was to gather together Baseball fans to collectively support the Auburn University Baseball. The ADC has grown from an initial group of 12 fans to an association of more than 600 (and growing) members. A first step was to meet with former Head Coach Steve Renfroe. He offered his support and outlined his objectives: make Plainsman Park the best venue for college baseball in America, qualify to host regional and super-regional tournaments, and get to the College World Series.

Structure

The ADC is an Alabama non-profit corporation which operates under the supervision of Coach Sunny Golloway and the Athletic Department. ADC is guided by a Board of Directors elected by the membership. The annual meeting is held in conjunction with the annual Players Recognition Banquet.  The Board also meets various other times of year.

Membership

Anyone interested in supporting Auburn baseball is encouraged to join. Dues are modest: Individuals $30, families $40, Patrons $150. Businesses or Individuals may sponsor for $300 per year. Patrons and Sponsors make a significant difference in the level of support ADC provides to the Auburn Baseball Program.

Welcome to the ADC

Friday, 07 December 2012 01:20

The ADC was established to support the AU Baseball Team.  The ADC works, specifically, to enhance the AU Baseball Experience for the players during their tenure on the team.  Consider becoming a member today as we continue to support the team in their quest to attain the goals of the season.

The Auburn Diamond Club is a primary support group for the Auburn University Baseball Program.  It offers an opportunity for AU baseball fans to join an organized effort to support the development of the program, to exchange information about the program, and to participate in numerous activities that relate to Auburn Baseball.  ADC is considered as a booster group by the NCAA and accordingly operates under the review of the Head Baseball Coach and the AU Athletics Department.  For information about the history of ADC, click here.

Membership is open to all persons interested in supporting AU baseball.  Membership is offered in four categories:  individual ($30/year), family ($40/year), patron ($150/year), and sponsor ($300) per year.   Membership runs from January 1 to December 31.  Those who join after July 31 of each year receive membership for the rest of that calendar year AND for the following calendar year.

Members receive an ADC Newsletter via email which provides information about the team such as travel opportunities, upcoming activities, and game re-caps.  To see sample newsletters, click HERE (link coming soon).  The ADC website also contains links to the team website, roster, schedule, and newsfeeds related to AU Tiger baseball.  Members have the choice or gifts in addition to the other ADC benifits.

We encourage you to join ADC and enjoy the benefits of membership as the team moves forward!
